- Supination = Elbows on ribs, turn palms up with your palm up.
- Unwrap a twisted candy wrapper while keeping their elbows away from their body.
- Use a small ball of putty or play dough, while keeping your elbow on the table roll the ball between your index, thumb and middle finger. Try to keep your wrist back and the ball on your finger-tips.
- Lace your fingers to the base. Twiddle your thumbs forward and backwards. For just one thumb, move it around a pen.
- Cutting- folded heart drawn on a paper. Cut it out and lift it off the table.
- Snapping fingers- point index finger out straight- middle and thumb connected- ring and pinky should be folded in.
- “LOVE” sign- Index and pinky up- Middle and ring fingers down- thumb out to the side- Now rock only at the wrist, side to side.
- Cupping finger- all fingers and thumb need to be slightly bent. There should be a hole at the center of the palm. You should be able to balance a flat object on your finger-tips. (a paper plate)
- Cupping your hands to shake dice. Palms should be arched, not flat together, rattle the dice.
- Thumb to pinky almost. Hold just short of touching. You should see the palm crease, at the base and center of the palm. “Lion Paw”
- Zip lock bag- Using both hands, start at the center and pull slowly out to the sides, using a tip to tip round pinch using index and thumb. All joints should be bent.
- Lacing- Push through with one hand and pull the tread out with the other.
- Roll a small foam wedge between fingers at the tip.
- Lid rotation- Lion’s paw position.(#10) Rotate the lid using only the tips of fingers and thumb of one hand. Try reversing the direction.
- Hand up in front of you. Make an “L” with thumb and index. You want a full “L”.
- Tuck your thumb under your palm with your palm down. Slowly back the thumb out while still leaving the tip under your palm. Now flip whole thumb out.
- Palms up - point thumbs to the ceiling. Bend just big joint at the base. Bend the joint close to the nail.
- Shooter finger: a. thumb and index out straight. b. middle, ring and pinky tucked. c. Bend and straighten only the thumb.
- Pinch paper between index and thumb (while making an “O”). Pull the paper, hang on. Be careful to not let the other fingers piggy back on your index finger.
- Using a Stetro® grip- place your fingers and thumb onto the grip. Place their elbow on the table. (you may need to block the pinky and ring) Now using only the fingers and thumb, pull the grip back towards your palm and keep pinching and push it away from your palm. This is used to strengthen fine muscles and also can be used to help decide on lined paper size. Small movements means small lines. Big movements means big lines.
